Mark Green has been in the financial services industry since 1985. He spent the first nine years in the back office operations department of a major wirehouse. In 1994, Mark became a registered advisor and stepped into the role of assisting clients and their families in the development and execution of strategies that are focused on meeting their specific needs. He remains committed to the tradition of client relationships - “Know your client, stay connected with them, learn what they need and assist them in achieving it”.

Sheri Green graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in business administration in 1984. After working retail right out of college, she took a job at Merrill Lynch. There she met Mark, married him, and moved to College Station. Sheri retired from KBTX TV, the local CBS affiliate, in 2017 completing a 26-year career in television advertising. Once retired, it afforded her the opportunity to work with her husband again and offered them both the opportunity to own their own business. In 2019 GFG Wealth Advisors was born. Mark and Sheri have two grown daughters, Brittney & Haley. Sheri enjoys reading, crafts, social events, and trying new things.

Ryan Briggs joined the GFG Wealth Advisors team in 2023 after being a client for several years. He is a graduate of the Sam Houston State University Business School and achieved a specialization in PGA Golf Management. This specialization led Ryan to a successful career as Golf Professional at top clubs around Texas, including Whispering Pines and Traditions Club. Ryan’s understanding of world-class customer service is something we are excited to bring to the GFG Family. Ryan currently sits on the Experiences Committee for the Brazos Valley Children’s Museum and is excited to grow his philanthropic outreach in the Bryan/College Station area. If Ryan is not in the office taking care of our clients, you will likely find him out sharpening his golf game, or in the back yard with the BBQ smoker fired up!
A veteran investor, Rick joined RFG in 2016 to build an institutional-caliber, client-focused investment platform. Recognizing that foundations and family offices often enjoy a significantly higher level of access and sophistication around portfolio management, Rick designed an investment program focused on bringing that level of service to you. He works one-on-one with our Advisors and their clients to construct customized portfolios that help meet their goals, as defined by their definition of success. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Read BioPrior to joining RFG, Rick spent 12 years at Bain Capital Credit where he rose through the ranks to become Executive Vice President, Head of Fixed Income Consumer Investments and Assistant Portfolio Manager.
